The Loading and Unloading steps in the Kiln Charge process are designed to help users manage the real world operation of moving material around their shops. At a high level, they can be thought of as checklists that help you keep accurate track of what you put in or take out of your Kilns.

Required User Level(s): Admin, Manager, Operator

Unloading Material from the Kiln (after Drying is complete)

  • Once the Charge has been stopped and you are ready to begin unloading material from the Kiln, go to the Kiln Charge View and scroll down to the Charge Material table

Pro Tip: Just as with Loading the best way to think of the Unloading process is to think of it as a Checklist that helps you keep track of what material you have process and what is still left to deal with

  • There are a number of things we can do from this view

    • Unload Material:

      • As you physically take each item out of the Kiln click the Unload Material button for that item in the view. You will then be prompted to select a new Status and Location for the material after it has been removed from the Kiln

    • Unload All Materials:

      • If you do not want to use the checklist feature you can alternatively just unload all items at once with the Unload All Materials button.. You will then be prompted to select a new Status and Location for all materials after they have been removed from the Kiln

  • When you remove material from the Kiln you will receive the Unload Material modal seen below. From here you will select the new item status and location that will be assigned to the material as it is unloaded.

  • As material is unloaded they will be moved to the Unloaded Material table in the Kiln Charge View

  • Continue this process until all material has been unloaded from the Kiln
