Taking Measurements
Traece™ makes it easy to capture moisture measurements during the drying process which helps to capture and record important information regarding your dried material
There are two ways to capture a measurement while drying, by using the Kiln Charge View or directly from the Kiln Charge List View
To take a reading directly from the Kiln Charge List View simply click the Take Reading button in the Measurements area of the Charge row
To take a reading from the Kiln Charge View, open the Charge and click the Take Measurement button to the right
In both cases you will presented with the Take Measurement modal where you will enter your measurement data
NOTE: You are able to capture up to four moisture values and two temperature values per reading. You are required to have at least one value before you save the measurement
Pro Tip: Although entering Notes are optional it is a good practice to enter helpful information during these transitions. All notes are recorded as part of the Charge history.
Once the data has been entered click Save to capture the data and record it to the Charge
You will then return to the Kiln Charge View where you will be able to see your measurement data in the Charge History table
Clicking on the history event in the table will expand the entry and show you the measurement data for that reading
While the Kiln is running you can repeat the measurement process as many times as necessary to continue to capture data to the Charge

When it is time to end the Drying Process, you can stop the Charge by editing the Charge or directly from the Kiln Charge List by clicking the Stop Charge button
