How to use scan load'n dry on the Traece™ Field App

The Scan, Load'N Dry feature in Traece™ Field App is designed to streamline the kiln workflow, allowing you to skip a few steps and make the process more efficient. By automating the material loading process, this feature saves you valuable time and effort in managing kiln charges.

Here’s how Scan, Load'N Dry works and how it can simplify your kiln operations.

Accessing Kiln in the Traece™ Field App

  • Click on Operations in the Navigation Bar.

  • Click on Kilns to access the Kiln Workflow view.

  • Once in the Kiln Workflow view, you can use Scan, Load'N Dry to simplify the process.

How Does Scan, Load'N Dry Work?

  • Access Scan, Load'N Dry:

    • Click on the rocket ship icon in the Traece™ Field App.

  • Create a Kiln Charge:

    • Fill in the required information to create a kiln charge.

  • Activate Scan, Load'N Dry:

    • After completing the charge information, click on Scan, Load'N Dry.

    • This will automatically set the charge to Loading status.

  • Add Material:

    • Now, add materials to the charge using either the scanner button or the Material Code option.

    • When you add material via either method, it will be automatically loaded into the kiln charge, skipping the manual loading step.

Note: This saves you the extra step of manually loading the materials after they’ve been added to the charge.

  • Start Drying:

    • Once all materials are added and automatically loaded, click on Start Drying to proceed with the drying process.
