Add Traece™ to your website and customize the embed settings, including the card details

By accessing your online webstore through Traece™, you have access to a wide range of customization options. These options give you the flexibility to control what information is displayed to your customers as they browse through your inventory, enabling you to tailor their experience to meet their specific needs.

Required User Level(s): Admin only

Step 3: Embed Settings | Card Details

Available options for Embedded Index Page Cards. This is the page that lists all of your available inventory in a table/grid layout.

  • Navigate to your Settings in the top right corner of Traece™

  • Click on Settings from the left-hand menu

  • Click on the Embed Settings tab

  • Click on the Slab Card Details tab

Please note that there are two categories of card details in Traece™: Slab Card Details and Pack Card Details. In this instance, we will be using the Slab Card Details.

  • Source Type: This is the source type of the tree

  • Species: This is the species of tree

  • Number: This is the inventory number of an item

  • Thickness: This is the thickness of the item, in inches

  • Surfaced Thickness: This is the thickness of the item after it has been surfaced, in inches

  • Min Width: This is the minimum width of an item, in inches

  • Board Feet: This is the total number of board feet (calculated by the Doyle Method)

  • Length: Length of the item, in inches.

  • Price: This is the price of an item

  • Max Width: This is the maximum width of an item, in inches

  • Board Foot Price: This is the price you charge per board foot (which is calculated on a per species and thickness basis)

  • Location: This is the physical location of where this item is located

  • Images: Include any images that are associated with an item

  • Enable Claim: If you are not yet using Traece’s integrated Stripe/Direct Purchase functionality, you may use the “Enable Claim” feature so that prospective customers can “claim” an item, rather than directly purchasing it. “Claim” alerts you saying this person wants to buy/view a certain item.

  • Enable Stripe/Direct Purchase: Better than “Enable Claim,” Enable Stripe/Direct Purchase allows a customer to add item(s) to their cart and pay for them with their credit card. This is done by setting up an account with Stripe and enabling the Direct Purchase feature in the e-Commerce tab.

  • Price Font Size: Increase or decrease the font size for Price

  • Discount label: Choose to display or hide the Discount Label (ex “Black Friday Discount” or “Friends and Family Discount”)

  • Sale Discount: Choose to display or hide the discount label

  • Banner Color: When you are running a sale, select the color of the Sale banner

  • Font Color: Select the color of the font for your Sale banner

  • Discount Font Size: Increase or decrease the font size for Discounts

  • Banner Transparency: Select the level of transparency for your Sale banner

The traits and details of specific items that are displayed when customers click on them can be customized using the Show on Embedded Card Main Tab option.

  • Source Type: This is the source type of the tree

  • Carbon Smart Wood: This will display if it is Carbon Smart Wood

  • Story Tab: Displaying the Story Tab allows your customers to learn more about the history, origins, and Source Tree of any given item.

  • Number: This is the inventory number of an item

  • Characters: This displays the character(s) of any given item. Some characters may increase or decrease the price of an item, depending on your Character settings.

  • Description: You have the option to give any specific item a unique description. This further tells the story of any given item.

  • Species: This is the species of tree

  • Status: This displays the customized Status of this particular item

  • Min Width: This is the minimum width of an item, in inches

  • Specialty: If an item is marked Specialty, this will appear in the card

  • Category: This displays the Category an item belongs to (ex Slab, Lumber, round, etc)

  • Location: This is the physical location of where this item is located

  • Max Width: This is the maximum width of an item, in inches

  • Sanded: This field indicates whether the item is Sanded or not

  • Thickness: This field indicates the Thickness of an item

  • Surfaced Thickness: This field indicates the Surfaced Thickness of an item

  • Length: Length of the item, in inches.

  • Surfaced: This field indicates whether the item is Surfaced or not

  • Diameter: This field indicates the Diameter of an item (if applicable)

  • Board Feet: This field indicates the total Board Feet of an item

  • Price: This is the price of an item

  • Board Foot Price: This is the price you charge per board foot (which is calculated on a per species and thickness basis)

  • Images: Include any images that are associated with an item

  • Allow Claim Items: If you are not yet using Traece’s integrated Stripe/Direct Purchase functionality, you may use the “Enable Claim” feature so that prospective customers can “claim” an item, rather than directly purchasing it. “Claim” alerts you saying this person wants to buy/view a certain item.

  • Share Button: Ability to share URL of an item

  • Select Image Size: You may choose whether the uploaded images associated with a particular item display in their Original size or a Large size

  • Discount label: Choose to display or hide the Discount Label (ex “Black Friday Discount” or “Friends and Family Discount”)

  • Sale Discount: Choose to display or hide the discount label

  • Banner Color: When you are running a sale, select the color of the Sale banner

  • Font Color: Select the color of the font for your Sale banner

Available options for Embedded Card Story Tab. This is the page that lists specific traits and details for any specific item.

  • Source Type: This is the source type of the tree

  • Images: Include any images that are associated with an item

  • Removal Date: Include the date an item was removed from its origin site (ex: The date the Source Tree was removed)

  • Map: Include a map view of where the item was removed

  • Address: Include the address of where the item was removed

  • Description: Include the description of the Source Tree

  • Label: Include the Label from the Source Tree

  • Discount Label Left: Orient the Discount Label on the left side of the screen
