When a kiln charge is in Pending status in Traece™, you have the flexibility to make changes, add or remove materials, and manage the charge before it progresses further in the kiln drying process. This allows you to ensure all details are accurate and all necessary materials are included before the charge is moved to the next status.
Here’s what you can do when a kiln charge is in Pending status.
Actions Available for a Pending Status Kiln Charge

Click on the edit (pencil icon) next to the start or stop dates and make the necessary updates.
Add Material
Drag and drop the material selection into the charge card.

Change the Charge Status to Loading
If you are adding material for the first time, you can load the material and change the kiln charge status to Loading.
If you click on Confirm, the material will be loaded, and the Charge Status will be updated to Loading.
If you click on Cancel, you will need to load each material separately.
Start Loading the Kiln
If you clicked on Cancel previously, to proceed with loading, click on Start Loading Kiln.
Note: You can have multiple kiln charges in Pending status, but only one charge can progress through the other statuses at a time.
By managing kiln charges effectively while they are in Pending status, you can make sure that all necessary materials and details are correctly configured before moving forward with the drying process. This flexibility allows you to maintain control and organization, optimizing your kiln operations in Traece™.
