The Pricing Sheet feature in Traece™ allows you to showcase your dimensional lumber to customers via a URL, an embedded page, or a downloadable PDF. The pricing sheet is dynamically updated in real time as inventory is sold or added to Traece™, ensuring that your customers always have access to the most up-to-date information. It is created based on key parameters like species, thickness, length, grade, available board feet, and price per board foot (BF).
Here’s how you can create and manage a pricing sheet in Traece™.
Create a Pricing Sheet
To begin creating a pricing sheet:
From your left-hand navigation menu in Traece™, click on Industrial Packs
Then click on Views and select Pricing Sheet
Add a Pricing Entry
To add a pricing entry:
Click on Add Pricing Entry
From the dropdowns, select Species, Thickness, Grade, and Length
Note: You can select a range for Length by clicking on the checkbox for the range and choosing the desired lengths from the dropdown.
Based on your selections, the Available Board Foot will automatically populate
Enter the Price Per BF for the selected entry
Click Save to save the entry or Save and Add to add more pricing entries.
Once the entry has been added, clicking on the available board feet (BF) will take you to a view showing all the packs associated with that entry.
Edit a Pricing Entry
Editing a pricing entry is simple:
Click on the pencil icon next to the entry you want to edit.
In the edit view, click on the specific category you wish to update, and a selector will appear.
Based on the new selection, the Available BF will update automatically.
To change the Price Per BF, click on the field and input the new value.
If you wish to delete a specific or entire entry, click the delete button or the trash bin icon next to the field.
After making changes, click Save Pricing Entry to save your updates.
Share the Pricing Sheet
To share the pricing sheet:
You have the option to download the entire pricing sheet or download a specific pricing entry. The pricing sheet will be downloaded in PDF format.
Alternatively, you can share the sheet via a URL or embed it into your website. By doing so, the pricing sheet will update in real-time, reflecting the most current inventory and pricing.
