Managing inventory in a constantly changing environment can be a complex task for Mill Planning. To simplify this process, the utilization of milling requests is an integral component. This system enables seamless communication among employees, empowering them to submit requests for milling requirements along with specified deadlines. This ensures that orders and demands are fulfilled on time, contributing to a more efficient workflow.
Required User Level(s): Admin, Manager, Operator only
Creating Milling Request
Click on Mill Planning
Click on Add New Request
Click and select a Due Date
Fill in the Request field
Click on Add Request
The Milling Request has been added to the Milling Requests.
Editing Milling Request
After creating a milling request, you can still change it if needed.
You can edit the Due Date and Milling Request fields by clicking the pencil icon.
After making the necessary changes to the request, click anywhere on the screen, and the updated version will be saved automatically.
Complete and Cancel Milling Request
Completed Request
Once a milling request is completed, click on the green check box
Click Confirm
Cancel Request
Click the red check box to cancel the milling request
Click Confirm
After completing a request, you can view it by clicking on the accordion next to Completed Requests.
Note: Once you cancel a request, it cannot be recovered.
