How to set up Locations in Traece™

In Traece™, locations refer to the physical places where your inventory is stored. These could be your showroom floor, various yards, or storage spaces like iDry 1 and iDry 2. It's important to assign a location to each item you add to Traece™, so updating the "Default Location" setting in Traece™ and adding as many unique locations as you need to match your business requirements.

Required User Level(s): Admin only

Accessing Locations

  • Navigate to your Settings in the top-right of Traece™

  • Click Configuration on the left-hand menu

  • Click the Locations tab

  • First, update the “Default Location” by clicking the edit icon in-line with “Default Location.”

  • Name: Create a new name for one of the locations where you may keep inventory

  • Is Default: If this Location is the most frequently used Location, click on the checkbox next to Is Default.

Note: This will make this location your default any time a new item is added. Only one Location can be defined as default at any given time.

  • Click Save to define the new Location

  • Repeat as necessary to define all Locations
