How to sync up inventory to Square

Now that you have successfully linked your Square account to Traece™, it's time to synchronize the inventory marked as "Ready to Sell" with Square.

Required User Level(s): Admin only

Synchronize Your Inventory with Square

  • Navigate to your Settings in the top right corner of Traece™

  • Click on Settings from the left-hand menu

  • Click on the Embed Settings tab

  • Click on the General tab

Note: Please check if the Status is set to the custom status that your business uses to indicate that an item is “Ready to Sell.” In the example above, any item (such as Slab, Dimensional Lumber, Packs, etc.) that is tagged as “Ready to Sell” can be synced with Square.

  • When you are ready to Synchronize with Square, click on the Synchronize with Square button.

  • Clicking this launches a confirmation modal. When you are ready to proceed, click Yes.

Note: If you have a lot of eligible items, this process may take a long time initially.

After the synchronization is complete, you can view your Traece™ inventory through your Square Dashboard and Square Retail app on your supported Apple device.

Finally, if you add or edit an item in inventory and the status is associated with Square, it will automatically sync to Square.

On the Inventory List page, you will see "Sync" next to any item that has been successfully synced to Square.
