Welcome to Dimensional Lumber on Traece™. Traece™ offers two main categories for Dimensional Lumber: Boards & Beams and Packs.
Definitions:
Boards & Beams are individual units of Lumber.
There are TWO types of Packs in Traece™: “Whole” Packs and “Flex” Packs.
Whole Packs: Whole Packs allows you to track a Pack as a single inventory asset, without tracking the individual items within a Pack. When creating a Whole Pack, your intention is (likely) to sell off that whole Pack as a single “unit” (ex based on Board Footage, for instance) rather than some of its parts.
Flex Packs: Flex Packs allow you to track the individual items within a Packs OR it allows you to let Traece™ estimate the number of items in a Packs OR manually add the total number of items in a Packs. This information can be added at any time.
