In the Traece™ Field App, you can take moisture content readings for Slabs, Packs, and Industrial Packs to ensure they are drying to the proper standards. Monitoring moisture levels is crucial for maintaining the quality of your materials throughout the drying process.

Here’s how to take and view moisture content readings for your materials.

How to Take a Moisture Content Reading

To take a moisture content reading:

  • Select the item (Slab, Pack, or Industrial Pack) you want to measure.

  • Click on Moisture Content.

  • Click on + Add New Measurement.

  • Enter the moisture reading.

  • Click on + Add New Measurement again to save the reading.

Note: Moisture readings can only be taken for Slabs, Packs, or Industrial Packs.

Viewing Past Moisture Content Readings

Once you've taken a moisture reading, you can view it and previous readings for the item:

  • View Last Measurement:

    • Click on the accordion for moisture content in the item view to see the last measurement.

  • View More Measurements:

    • If you want to see more than the last measurement, click Moisture Content to pull up the complete list of measurements taken for that item.

Why Monitoring Moisture Content is Important

Taking regular moisture content readings helps you ensure that your materials are drying properly and reaching the desired moisture levels. This process is critical for producing high-quality slabs, packs, and industrial packs.
