How to view the Item View for Slabs on the Traece™ Field App

When accessing the Slabs Item View on the Traece™ Field App, you can view detailed information about the slab.

Access Item View for Slabs

  • Click on the Inventory button in the Navigation Bar

  • Click on the Slabs

  • Click on the Species - Inventory Number

You have entered the Item View for the Slab.

If the slab has been associated with a barcode tag or 2D code, you'll find it here. Additionally, all of the slab's images will be shown.

Item View Details

The Item View page will have four different tabs users can navigate through. These tabs include Data, Notes, History, and Associations.

Data

The Data tab contains the slab's Material Information, Specifications, and Pricing Information.

Material Information

  • Date Milled - When was the slab milled?

  • Status - What is the status of the slab?

  • Location - Where is the slab located?

  • Inventory Number of the slab

  • Species

  • Log - Was the slab milled from a log?

  • Source Tree - Was the slab milled from a source tree?

Specifications

  • Thickness of the slab

  • Length of the slab (measured in inches)

  • Average Width of the slab (measured in inches)

  • Width Maximum of the slab (measured in inches)

  • Width Minimum of the slab (measured in inches)

  • Estimated BF

  • Characters - Each slab is unique, and some of its characteristics can affect its value based on your preferences.

Pricing Information

  • Total Price - Prices are calculated using the Slab board foot formula and species and thickness prices. Generated prices can be manually adjusted.

  • Slab Acquisition Cost - Track the cost of the slab

Notes

The Notes tab contains Internal Notes and Description.

  • Internal Notes - If you want to keep unique information for a slab, use Internal Notes.

  • Description - Provide details of the Slab that you wish to capture.

History

The History tab contains the status history of the Slab.

Associations

The Associations tab shows any associations between the slab, source tree, packs, and logs.
