We're excited to present our latest update, packed with amazing new features, improvements, and a touch of fun! Get ready to embark on a thrilling journey with Traece™. Let's dive into the release notes:

🚀 Enhancements and Improvements

We have carefully considered your feedback and made great improvements to enhance your experience even further. Discover the improvements and enhancements we have made to Traece™.

  • Plan Limits Reached: Previously, when a user's account plan limits were reached, Traece™ would block all actions. However, we have recently made improvements to this process. Now, if a user reaches their plan limits, they can still edit items already on Traece™.

  • QR Code - Price Per BF: The logic to display Price Per BF has been added when generating a QR code. To show Price Per BF, the User will need to input {{bf_price}} in the QR code set up.

  • Add Item - Logs List: When adding an item, clicking on the dropdown for logs did not always populate all the logs. However, we have made improvements to this process. Now, users will always see the 30 most recent logs. Additionally, users can search for logs, and if a species is selected first, only logs related to that species will be displayed. Similarly, if a source tree is selected first, only logs associated with that particular source tree will be shown.

  • Numerical Tallies: We updated the UI to display numbers with a comma separator after four digits. For instance, instead of "1000", it now shows "1,000".

  • Embed - Claim/Purchase Items - Hyperlink Added To Client Email: When a customer claims or purchases an item through the embed functionality, you will receive an email notification. We have recently improved this feature to make it more convenient for you. Once you receive the email, you can click on the inventory number provided in the email, which will take you directly to the item view. This way, you can quickly and easily see which item has been claimed or purchased by the customer. To enable this feature, you need to go to Embed Settings -> Email and configure the Client Email Message. For Slabs and Packs, you will need to insert the following information in the inventory field:

For slabs:
Number: {{s.link_number}}

For packs:
Number: {{p.link_inventory_number}}

🐛 Bug Fixes

We've been hard at work squashing pesky bugs and ensuring a smooth experience. Here are some of the issues we resolved:

  • Image Rotation - Clears Thickness: When an image is rotated, the thickness value used to get cleared. However, this issue has been fixed, and the thickness value is retained even after image rotation.

  • Kiln Charge - Unable To Close Modal: There were instances in which the kiln charge modal did not close if the user took a measurement during the drying process or when attempting to delete a kiln charge that was in pending status. This issue has now been fixed.

  • Kiln Charge - Kiln Status - Does Not Automatically Update: There was a bug in which the status on the Kiln Charges page did not update automatically after changing the status of a Kiln Charge, as observed for both Kiln and Kiln Charge. This issue has been resolved.

  • Inventory Browser - Operator role: When using the Inventory Browser as an operator, the item view fails to load for the user. This issue has been resolved.

  • Slabs - Filtering Using Characters: After filtering slabs and searching by characters, editing an item displayed duplicate items. This issue has now been resolved.

  • Delete Tooltip: There was a bug preventing users from deleting configurations due to the tooltip. The issue has been resolved for Configuration -> Contact Types and Configurations -> Characters.

We hope you're enjoying the latest update to Traece™. Your feedback is important to us as we work to enhance your experience. If you have any suggestions, please share them through the Support Chat in the App. We have more exciting features and surprises in store for future releases, so stay tuned! 🌲
