After adding a source tree to Traece™, you can associate it with items exclusively generated from that particular tree. This tree can produce slabs, dimensional lumber, furniture, and even logs. When a tree has been fully utilized, it may be necessary to remove it. However, on Traece™, we strongly encourage you to maintain a comprehensive record of all added trees, as each tells a unique story. Instead of permanently deleting the tree and its associated data, we have introduced a new feature called "Archived." By archiving a tree, you can safeguard its data within the Traece™ system, preserving its story for future reference.
Archiving a tree on Traece™ offers the following advantages:
Enhanced tracking: Archiving allows you to effectively monitor and keep records of the tree within Traece™.
Streamlined selection: Once a tree is archived, it will no longer appear as an option when choosing a Source Tree, simplifying the selection process.
Searchability: Despite being archived, you can still easily locate the tree by utilizing the search filters, ensuring convenient access to its information.
Required User Level(s): Admin, Manager, Operator may add/edit/delete. Visitors may view Sources information on a specific item if enabled.
