How to add companies in Traece™

Traece™ offers an integrated Companies feature that enables you to add any organization you work with, and then associate specific Contacts to those Companies. This feature allows you to efficiently manage and keep track of important companies and relationships in Traece's built-in CRM.

Required User Level(s): Admin and Manager

Accessing Companies

  • On the left-hand navigation menu, click Companies

  • If you have already created Companies, they will appear on this page

  • At a glance, the Companies page in Traece™ displays six specific fields that allow for easy access to important information.

    • Company Name: This is the name of the Company you want to track

    • Company Domain Name: Use this name to keep track of the Company’s website

    • Phone: Easily access the Company’s phone number

    • State: Quickly see which State where this Company is located

    • City: Quickly see which City where this Company is located

    • Company owner: Easily tie a Contact in and identify them as the Company Owner.

Add a Company

  • Click Add Company in the top right corner

  • Enter Company Info

    • Company Name: This is the name of the Company you want to track

    • Company Domain Name: Use this name to keep track of the Company’s website

    • Contacts: Associate one or more Contacts with this company.

For instance, in a commercial building project, you might collaborate with both a Foreman named Mark and a Project Manager named Krishna. You can add both of them as "Contacts" in Traece™.

  • Enter Address Info

    • Address 1: The street address where this company is located

    • Address 2: The suite or office number where this company is located (if applicable)

    • City: The city where this company is located

    • State: The state where this company is located

    • Zip Code: The associated zip code for this City/State

  • Comments

    • This is an internal note that can help give context or additional information regarding this company and your business’s relationship to it.

  • Click Save
