Traece™ allows you to create user-specific discounts, enabling you to tailor unique discounts to support various promotions, sales, and special events that you want to run on your inventory. This feature is particularly useful if you want to offer exclusive discounts to select customers or groups of users. You can also use user-specific discounts to support loyalty programs or to reward customers for repeat purchases. With Traece's user-specific discount feature, you have the flexibility to design and implement targeted discounts that align with your business objectives and drive customer engagement.
Required User Level(s): Admin only
Adding a Discount
Navigate to your Settings in the top-right of Traece™.
Click Discounts on the left-hand menu
Click Add Discount in the top right corner
Select which User(s) will have access to this Discount. You may add multiple users to any given Discount.
Give the Discount a Name (ex. Fall Sale or Contractor’s Discount)
Start Date: The date this Discount becomes active
End Date: The date this Discount expires
Note: If you leave the "End Date" field blank while setting up a discount in Traece™, it means that the discount will be available indefinitely. In other words, it will have an "immortal" status and will not expire unless you manually change the end date.
Percent: Define how much this Discount will be, such as 10% or 15%
If this Discount is available for All Items (ex. Slabs, Lumber, etc), click this box.
Click Save to create your Discount
Editing a Discount
Traece™ simplifies the process of modifying a discount by offering an intuitive editing feature that allows you to quickly make changes whenever necessary.
Deleting a Discount
In addition to editing discounts, Traece™ also allows you to easily remove any outdated or unnecessary discounts from your account.
