Below you'll find everything you need: what you need to know about the shutdown, how to export your data, and answers to common questions.
Here's what you need to know:
Traece shuts down on July 10, 2026. You can continue using the platform as you do today until then.
Export your data before July 10, 2026. After that date, the platform will no longer be accessible, and data export will no longer be possible.
How to Export Your Data
You can export your inventory data at any time before July 10, 2026.
Here's how:
From your left-hand navigation in Traece™, click on an Inventory Type (Slabs, Packs, Logs, Sources, Boards and Beams).
Choose the items you want a report for, or Select All
Click Actions.
Click Export to CSV/PDF.
Choose the fields you want to include in the report.
Click Generate.
After downloading the file to your computer, simply click on it to access your report.

Questions & Answers
Why is Traece being shut down?
As Cambium has grown, our focus has shifted toward building tools that serve the broader wood supply chain in new ways. That evolution means we're no longer able to give Traece the continued investment it deserves, and we've made the decision to sunset the platform.
When will Traece shut down?
Traece will remain available until July 10, 2026. After that date, the application and all Traece services will no longer be accessible.
Can I still use Traece until the shutdown date?
Yes. Traece remains fully functional until July 10, 2026. You can continue using the platform as you do today — nothing changes until the shutdown date.
What happens to my subscription?
Monthly subscriptions are converted to free at the start of the sunset period — no further charges will occur. Annual subscriptions are pro-rated as of the sunset start date, and the unused portion will be credited back automatically.
Do I need to do anything about my subscription?
No. Subscription changes and credits are handled automatically. You do not need to take any action.
How do I export my data?
The existing data export functionality in Traece remains available until shutdown. If you need additional data beyond what the current export provides, you can request it through our support chat and our team will do our best to assist you.
When is the deadline to export my data?
Data export is available until July 10, 2026. After shutdown, data export will no longer be possible.
What happens if I don't export my data?
No action is required. After shutdown, Traece will no longer be accessible and data export will no longer be possible.
Will my data be deleted?
Yes. Customer data will be deleted 30 days after the Traece sunset. Data will become inaccessible after shutdown.
Will Traece continue to be supported until shutdown?
Support will be available during the sunset period, focused on access issues, subscription questions, and data export. No new features or enhancements will be provided.
What happens to my Square or Stripe account?
Traece's connection to your Square or Stripe account will be disconnected as part of the shutdown. This does not affect your account in any way — your payment processing and data remain fully intact and under your control.
What happens to the embed functionality after shutdown?
The embed functionality will no longer be available after July 10, 2026. Please make sure you have an alternative in place before the shutdown date.
What happens to the Traece API after shutdown?
API access is included in this shutdown and will no longer be available after July 10, 2026.
How can I contact support?
Customers can contact support through Intercom until the final day of Traece service. Intercom will be disabled after shutdown.
